Lucy Birkinshaw

Lucy Birkinshaw is a lighting designer and artist whose design work spans 20 years of theatre, opera, music theatre, concert lighting, dance, film and television. Lucy’s distinctive approach to depth, contrast and beauty within her designs make her an identifiable theatre artist. Lucy graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the late nineties and went on to further her education at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts when she discovered a passion and talent for the ephemeral world of lighting a few years later.
